[ So now we have his name, and know there's definitely trouble to follow! ] Meet Asmodai, the resident tactician whose silver tongue is second to none.

And yes, it's the same Asmodai from [ the trial group image ], and he's definitely changed visually. I was going to have his wings wrap in front of him akin to Goliath from Gargoyles - but it got in the way of the more regal parts of his outfit. Teo went through a minor change as well - her shackles are a bit more obnoxious now.

[ And now for something different. ] A new overfiend appears, with a character a few of you may be familiar with tagging along!

Easily the most fun (and most simple) thing to draw on this page were the bats for the first panel. Ridiculously easy. CUE COMIC WITH NOTHING BUT BATS.

[ And the sisters are alone once more. ] Ame sure loves to avoid answering questions! What a jerkface.>:[

Expect UOM to make a comeback soon - problem is I'm really not interested in many new games until Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle come out. So I'll probably go retro. (...And no seriously, how is any game out there going to beat the fact No More Heroes: DS' first boss is a pimp who throws his...lovely associates at you and then proceeds to shoot you with his boombox AND has it graft onto him like a mecha? ...Thought so. [ See it for yourself. ])

[ Wait...A celebration? ] Makes one wonder what could be devious enough for demons to it celebrate year after year.

Also: Happy Birthday Sonic the Hedgeh--Oh wait! Whats this? [ ALWAYS BET ON DUKE. ]

[ ...They really, really can't stand each other. ] Poor Suko.

All will be clear as to why they dislike each other so much soon, I promise.

And here's [Heartcore Page 9] for you fine folks. A nice glimpse at the questionable dynamics between Ame and her father.

It's also another glimpse at a small run-on concept in the series, the fact every demonic character has a muse.

You would think [ Royce is being too forward ] but...no, he's just ridiculously cheesy.

Also yes, I'm still keeping up with videogames. Sadly there's nothing of interest after E3, aside from Valve not even considering any developments for the PS3.

06.09.2009
Finally started my more serious [ graphic novel ] idea. Here's the individual pages so you can start from page one! [ one ], [ two ], [ three ], [ four ], [ five ], [ six ] , and [ seven ].

Keyword is FINALLY. Sorry about that! I also intend to be editing the site a bit over the next few weeks.

Multiple Choice

05.21.2009
A [ quick comic ] to test out (to be frank) drawing much faster to make time for another project. And yes, the comic is making a direct reference to [ the MOST epic motivational poster around ]. Even if they did spell one of the cities' names wrong.

I finally decided to take on a more serious comic art-wise. I've delayed it for ages due to lacking confidence in my skill level, but thankfully I remember that even Kousuke Fujishima was mediocre when he first started compared to how he is now, so I figured I'd bite the bullet.

You Can Bet On Him! Part V

05.07.2009
OH MY. This actually wasn't intended to be part of [ our little story ], but seriously? THE TIMING.

The [ company that owns Duke Nukem died ] right after the comic with Ryo slugging him was released. Yeah. I PROMISE I'M NOT PSYCHIC. I just had the timing oppertunity of a...who knows? ...but something great was just handed to me when this happened.

I will probably continue with my original plans, maybe not. Either way, don't be too hard on Ryo!

You Can Bet On Him! Part IV

05.04.2009
Now finally things get a bit more interesting. Next comic is where I take this [ to the next level. ] Whoo! DUKE IS HUGE.

Semi-old news due to my small delay - [ Turtles in Time being remade! ] Oh boy! A special thanks to my bro Soan for that one.

You Can Bet On Him! Part III

04.28.2009
Hey! [ Ame's hair being on fire has a use! ] Fancy that.

This is [ pretty welcome news ] but it isn't at all surprising. CAPCOM has defined port whoring, remember? In more CAPCOM news: [ A ton of Umbrella: Darkside Chronicles ] screenshots were released today! Leon (and even more important: Claire) for everyone!

You Can Bet On Him! Part II

04.24.2009
Let us [ continue with the downward spiral... ]

Did you know the ENTIRE Orange Box is [ only $10 right now? ] And I thought getting Team Fortress 2 for $10 was a steal...damn. ALSO: [ THIS LOOKS AMAZING. ]

You Can Bet On Him!

04.22.2009
[ Continuing onward... ] You can see I'm going somewhere with this. BUT WHERE?

And [ This seems pretty cool ], it's original at the very least. I thrive on that stuff. Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Shadow of the Colossus, Killer7. Excellant, really.

...What.

04.16.2009
[ Oh no... ], and yes, this will be continued into the next comic as well. SUSPENSE. ANTICIPATION. ...LISTLESSNESS.

Trying the 4KOMA style. Not permanent but fun! I blame Eyepatch-tan.

Not much new really. Remember when you thought THIS was cool? ...Yeah, me neither. What was Nintendo thinking?!

Always With That Whole Wishful Thinking!

04.02.2009
I tried playing Pokémon Platinum a few days ago. I haven't played ANY of em since the first game set. :I Needless to say [ I still managed to screw that up. ] It made the game much more enjoyable, though!

The [ infamous line ] seen in the comic is from...wait...you haven't played Metal Gear Solid? BANNED FROM MY TREEHOUSE. AND DON'T EVEN THINK OF COMING BACK UNTIL YOU DO.

ALSO - starting April 5th [ EB Games ] is having a huge sale. A heads up for you guys. Other than that? Not much. The best April Fool's Day joke was [ right here ]. Nevermind my obvious bias.

Predictions?

03.26.2009
Like most people, I balked at this [ strange bit of news ]. A few days later I realized I touched on the subject way back in [ UOM 31 ], and figured I'd [ give it a small nod. ]

Oh my! This whole ordeal may be something only [ someone like Rorschach ] could handle! WHO WATCHES TOM NOOK?

Several Steps Too Far

03.19.2009
First off, I apologize for [ the soapbox ]. I've been asked for my thoughts on this...so here they are, laid out. I have some more straight-up humor coming down the line, don't fret.

Now - let me set this straight: Resident Evil 5 suffers from Silent Hill 4 syndrome... it IS a great game, but it is also a bad Resident Evil. Despite this, 'tis a sure contender for GOTY. Maybe even win it like Resident Evil 4 did. Newcomers to the series will more than likely enjoy it. If your first encounter with the series involved Captain Albert Wesker of the S.T.A.R.S Alpha Team however...thats up for debate.

And sadly, the [ final bit mentioned in the comic ] is very true. I'll stick with Left4Dead.

To lighten the bad news, here's some props to a good friend of mine who recently revisited the better times: [ MEEEEEEEEMORIES. ]

One Step Too Far

03.11.2009
Another [ opinion-based comic ]. I'm trying to reduce the work required for UOM in order to prepare a much more serious comic endeavor...but still be able to do both.

As for this particular comic...seriously, [ Chris Redfield is ridiculous. ] I thought I was playing Resident Evil, NOT Gears of War. Meh...[ the game still looks promising ] but I sincerely doubt it will top Resident Evil 4, simply by knowing the entire story in advance. [SPOILERS: It sucks and ruins everything you love.]

Also, if you need help figuring out which version of Resident Evil 5 is superior if you own both the 360 and PS3...well, [ no contest there ]. One of the many reasons I went with a 360 myself.

Enough is enough!

02.18.2009
I finally got ahold of a particular Resident Evil title, so of course there's a [ comic ] for it.

Not much else going on, I'm still on the fence about Street Fighter IV myself. AND No More Heroes won 3 Nintendo Power awards, including Best New Character and Best Adventure Game so I'm satisfied for now.

POWER UP.

02.11.2009
Now that the [ new Sega Geneis Collection ] is out, I can spread my retro virus and demand [ you pick it up and then proceed to make small sacrifices to it ]. Another teehee / personal opinion comic, oh boy~

If you don't understand the end -- shame on you! It is one of the [ earlier instances of vocal work in a videogame ], and due to how...odd the game is, is infamous as a result. POWER UP....Okay, I'll be honest. The game is far from great to play compared to other beat 'em ups that would come later, but we were easy to please back then. We got [ awesome incarnate a bit later ] so all is well.

The Truth

02.03.2009
A [ rather amusing truth ].

Not much new other than that, really. Except for this, proof that Nintendo is better than any other gaming company out there: Say it with me now: Awwww...how nice!

On Second Thought...Finale

01.28.2009
I'm glad [ the story arc ] has finally come to an end. I can't even begin to tell you guys how many much, much better ideas I've had to pass up just to get this finished. FREEEEEDOOOOM.

Actually, instead of reading this, you should be playing the [ Resident Evil 5 ] demo! I promise only 30 lashes if you get on that RIGHT NOW. ...Although honestly I'm excited RE5 will be out soon primarily so I can look forward to a remake of the best game in the whole franchise: Resident Evil 2.

On Second Thought...REDUX

01.21.2009
This week's [ update ] definitely helps get the gears in motion...the plot thickenssss.

Also, have you folks been keeping up with [ Phantasy Star 0 ]? It looks amazing and I will definitely try to get it when it hits shelves. Best looking DS game by far - AND the character designs are done by the artist for Lunar? The only thing that would make this better is the announcement of Phantasy Star 5. ......I can dream.

Other than that, I received some [ awesome incarnate ] in the form of Rip and Tear plushies! Now I can be backstabbed and leeched off of in real life! D'aaaaw.

On Second Thought...

01.08.2009
Sometimes [ looks can be deceiving ]...

Also, this is probably the easiest to guess cameo ever appears in this comic. Hurr. Go pilfer a cookie from the pantry for getting it right if you must.

And in news this week, we bid farewell to EGM. And that's...really sad. I have issues dating back as early as #14, man. Back then, before the internet (known to you youngsters as "the good times") videogame magazines were worth their weight in gold. I remember spending all of my allowance on that crud. I may never miss a magazine as much as I miss GameFan, but EGM was still a part of that magical window way back when. I'm not surprised this happened considering, but I have to ask: Who seriously doesn't think GamePro should of died first? That magazine is obnoxious and cheesy...and not in the good eighties way.

Happy Double Christmas!

12.30.2008
This is a direct sequel to [ the Christmas image I posted last week], so it [ deviates from the current story ]. The way I see it, most of you folks will be partying anyway, so I'll just do what makes me happy at the time being for this week. c:

More fun with wordless comics. ...Also, catboys suck.

Happy Double Christmas!

12.22.2008 - 4:20 PM
A quick [Christmas pic], with Ame putting on the slut napkin charm, which really shouldn't be a surprise. Har.

Not much else happening, except for the fact that [ all hope is lost for this.] As one of my very few favorite anime series, this displeases me greatly.
